Pale girls don’t get enough love.
A wise frog once said, “It’s not easy being green.”
The point is well made. It’s also not easy to be pale. Makeup companies have names for pale skin - alabaster, ivory, and porcelain. Sometimes there are less flattering adjectives too - pasty, chalky, washed-out, or sickly. We might be called ghostly, vampiric, or gothic, but maybe we were just born this way. Maybe we don’t want to paint ourselves orange or roast ourselves in tanning beds like a rotisserie chicken.
So maybe it’s time to say it: “FUCK YEAH, PALE GIRLS.”
